Play groups & fun drop in classes

Wow! What a busy Friday we had. There were 2 playgroups meeting in our Cafe' plus several other parents and children attending our Art Dabblers class. There was a good buzz of conversations and children's laughter. If you belong to a play group or have friends with children consider meeting in our cafe'. We have tables and chairs for adults to sit and converse and a play area for children to play and interact with other children. We have toys for mobile children as well as for those who aren't as mobile.

We have great classes to offer parents and child care providers. On Wednesdays starting in January we will have mid-morning storytime and snack 10-11am, on Thursdays we have Open Gym, and on Fridays we offer Art Dabblers. Art Dabblers is an open ended art time where children can try different types of art projects at their own pace. There is no right way and, best of all, no clean up. Come check us out!

ONLINE UP AND RUNNING

YIPPEE!!! We had two great things happen yesterday. Our Jan-May catalog started rolling off the presses and the revamp of the website went live. OK so I was nervous between 1-3pm when all you got was "Under Construction". The really neat thing is that we now have online registration for most of our events. So if you are surfing our site at 10pm, decide you want to come to an event, you can register then and there!

The newest catalog (aka the blue one) is out as well. We are excited to be offering Family Fun Adventures, two times each month. Our first one starts Jan 12 10:30-noon and is a Treasure Hunt for the whole family. We also have the great Musikgarten and KinderDance programs back for another season. Our new offerings include- Baby Ballroom, Family Ballroom and Mid Morning Story and Snack every Wednesday. Check out all our classes at http://www.familyvillage.net !

Holiday Make and Take

Hi! My name is Mary, I am one of the partners at Family Village. I am excited about the upcoming Holiday Make and Take tomorrow. We are going to make homemade gifts to give to family or friends for the holiday. I am leading the event this year. We are making Brownies in a jar, wine charms, air plane ornaments, stationery and bath salts. This is right up my alley! I love creating gifts!

Welcome to Family Village Blog!

Hello,

We at Family Village would like to welcome you to our Blog site. Here we plan on letting you know the new happenings at the Village as well as introducing ourselves more in depth.

This week we are focusing on the Holiday Make & Take as well as the Ethnic Bake Sale this Saturday from 10-1.

The new class catalog is at the printers and well be available shortly. Also the Online catalog, along with ONLINE REGISTRATION will be available next week (can you tell what I am excited about?)
